Donna is very proud to be on the Advisory Board for Songs of Love Foundation. In this capacity she vigilantly acts as a music messenger for Songs of Love, spreading the seeds of their work to her industry contacts. Shadow Mountain Publishing, hosts an annual charity and fundraiser each year at the World Famous Opryland Resort in Nashville, TN. The Songs of Love Hall of Tree is beautifully decorated with items donated by songwriters from her company and their friends who believe in the mission of Songs of love as a result of Donna's "messenger" efforts. 2010's fundraiser at the Hall of Trees included donations from Great American Country (GAC), like Montgomery Gentry, Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood. Donna is a volunteer composer for Songs of Love Foundation.

How could any day be better spent than writing for a child who needs to have their spirits lifted? Music is the true medicine and through her songwriting craft and her vocal and production skills, she writes these personal songs straight from her heart to the heart of that special child who is receiving their very own song.

Everyone of Us features Donna on vocals.  She co-wrote this eco-friendly song with her pal Kat Korac and former Columbia recording Artist Evan Olson.  Evan also produced the track.   The show aired on TVO on November 2, 2010 with 8 episodes.    The first show featured Jan Goodall.      Also featured on this webseries (which you can find at www.greenheroes.tv) is the song she co-wrote with Bryan Steele called  "We are Heroes".
